Sharon A. Harris, 61, of Carlinville, IL, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at her home in Carlinville, IL. Sharon was born September 6, 1962, in Canton, IL, a daughter of Brady Franklin Williams and LaNeta Williams. She attended high school in Litchfield, IL. She married Larry "Cowboy" Harris on February 23, 2001, in Jasper, TX. Sharon had been employed as a cashier for Mobil-Exxon in Palmer, TX and as a data entry clerk for Accu-Data in Carlinville. She liked to spend her time crocheting, playing Yahtzee, rummy, and poker. She was an avid watcher of the Price is Right and the Young and the Restless. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Larry "Cowboy" Wayne Harris, son, Thomas Brown, and her sister, Karen Gilliand. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 612 E Poplar St. in Taylorville, IL, with Randy Lingenfelter presiding. Sharon is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Gary) Slater of Ormond Beach, FL, daughter, Cassaundra (Corey) Beswarick of Taylorville, IL, son, Kyle (Cortney) Michael of Tool, TX, daughter, Karen (Companion Dalton Runge) Williams of Carlinville, IL, 13 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Family. Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, IL, is in charge of arrangements.
