I have precious memories of Betty Walker as a devoted wife and mother to her family. Betty was a God-fearing woman who had a solid faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. I was good friends with her children growing up in Carlinville. I remember the great times I had at her house years ago. I also remember visiting the church on occasional Sundays for Sunday School and church. Betty was kind, generous and gave greatly of herself without reservation to help and minister to her family, neighbors and friends. Betty will be greatly missed, but I know our Heavenly Father has welcomed her into her eternal home.

So sorry to hear about Betty. I lived across the street from Grandma and Grandpa Ryder (I called them that too). I always enjoyed it when you came to visit them. We always had fun. May God give you peace and comfort at this time.

prayers go out for my Uncle Harold, and my cousins Phillip, Cindy, Mindy, Eleanor, Melody, and Marla.Your parents married a year before I was born, my most precious childhood moments are my visits to Decatur♡ It gives me comfort knowing my mom, Aunt Betty, Aunt Lucy, Uncle Charles and Uncle Danny are together with all the Walkers like they were all back on Gullick for a family get together....some of my memories might not be exactly right. but it was so cool having 6 cousins from my aunts and uncles.
