Obituary of Deloros Marie Whitley

Delores Marie Whitley 67 of Standard City, IL, passed away Friday morning, May 1, 2015, at Carlinville Area Hospital in Carlinville, IL. Deloros was born November 5, 1947, in Springfield, IL, a daughter of Thomas and Marjorie (Whalen) Caufield. Deloros graduated from Carlinville High School with the class of 1965. She married Kenneth E. Whitley June 12, 1965, in Virden at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Deloros was a member of Ss Mary & Joseph Catholic Church and past member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She retired from KARMAK in Carlinville after having careers at the Secretary of States Office, Schien Trucking and Monterey Coal Company. Deloros was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law; Brett Stewart and grandson; Riley Walch. Deloros is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Whitley of Standard City, IL, daughter, DiLynn Stewart of Standard City, IL, daughter, Debra (Ryan) Walch of Atwater, IL, 6 grandchildren, sister, Patricia (Allen) Shears of Divernon, IL, sister, Phyllis "Jean" (Perry) Pettit of Carlinville, IL, several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Visitation will be held on Monday evening, May 4, 2015, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, IL. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the funeral home with Rev. Christopher House officiating.
