Obituary of Jean Trakinat-Yemm

Jean Trakinat-Yemm 84 of Carlinville, passed away Thursday evening, November 20, 2014 at her residence in Carlinville, IL. Jean was born on April 2, 1930 to Fred and Ora (Jenkins) England in Carlinville. On March 4, 1950 she married Albert Frank Trakinat Jr. and he preceded her in death on November 29, 1986. Jean then married Joseph A. Franz Jr. in October 1987 and he also preceded her in death in July of 2002. She was then married on June 18, 2004 to Trice "Tom" Yemm in Carlinville and he survives. Jean owned and operated Jean's Flower Shop in Carlinville from the early 1970's till retirement in the late 1980's. She was also a homemaker and a member of the Carlinville United Methodist Church and the Town and County Club. In her free time, Jean enjoyed painting and flowers. Jean is survived by her husband, Trice "Tom" Yemm of Carlinville; two daughters, Karen (Robert) Reid and Barbara Trakinat both of Litchfield, IL; two sons, Steve Trakinat of Bloomington, IL and Todd Trakinat of Sacramento, CA; two step-sons, Tom (Vickie) Yemm of Springfield and David (Nickie) Yemm both of Springfield, IL; 6 grandchildren; Jennifer (Toby) Reid Baugher, Lori (Scott) Reid Gardner, Brian (Jennifer) Reid, Barbara (Nate) Tingley, Georgia Trakinat, Lucas Trakinat, 8 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, grandson, Bradley Robert Reid and 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Funeral Information Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Robert Taylor officiating. Burial will take place in Prairie Lawn Cemetery.
