Terry Alvin Newby
71, of Carlinville, passed away Saturday morning May 23, 2015 at Carlinville Rehab Center in Carlinville.
Terry was born on May 18, 1944 to Everett and Mildred (Crays) Newby in Plainview, IL.
Terry was a custodian for the Illinois State Police in Springfield. He drove a truck for several years previously. Terry was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed time at the riverboats.
Terry is survived by his five sisters, Darlene (Garrett) Frakes of Carlinville, Wonda (Dwight) Wayman of Medora, Charlotte Ann (Lee) Wallis of Modesto, Judy (Frank) Wallis of Plainview, Sharon (Mike) Whitworth of Carlinville; two brothers, Ralph (Ruth) Newby of Prairie Town, Larry (Fiancée Connie Cole) Newby of Plainview; sister-in-law, Ellen Newby of Plainview, IL; several nieces and nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Everett Newby, Jr. Funeral Information
A graveside Memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Shipman Cemetery in Shipman, Illinois. There will be no visitation. Donations Information
