Samuel J. "Junior" Loveless 92 of Carlinville, passed away Monday morning, June 23, 2014 at his residence in Carlinville, IL. Sam was born on April 30, 1922 to Truman and Maude (Alfrey) Loveless in Carlinville. Samuel married Mary Killam on June 21, 1950 in Carlinville and they just recently celebrated their 64th year of marriage. Sam served his country in the Army Air Force during WWII. He was a retired car salesman from Loveless Mercury in Carlinville and was also a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Sam is survived by his wife Mary; three sons, Mark (Patty) Loveless of Carlinville, Glenn Loveless of Carlinville and Stephen Loveless of Standard City; 3 granddaughters and a grandson; 4 great grandsons and a great granddaughter, as well as a nephew and a niece. Sam was preceded in death by his parents; a son Scott Loveless, as well as 4 brothers, Leroy, Raymond, Paul and Perry Loveless. Funeral Information A private family burial will take place in Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville, IL. Donations Information Memorials are suggested to the Macoupin County T.A.I.L.S.
