Jeri Lynn Jones 54 of Carlinville, passed away Saturday morning, November 8, 2014 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. Jeri was born on November 13, 1959 to Gerald and Donna (Brown) Jones in Carlinville and was a graduate of Carlinville High School with the class of 1978. Jeri was a sales associate for Wal-Mart. She also worked for Accu-Data in Carlinville and enjoyed playing online games and Runescape. Jeri is survived by her two sons, James T. Jones of Carlinville and Jason W. Jones of Palatine, IL; seven sisters, Laurie Jones of Chatham, IL, Patricia Jones of Chatham, IL, Teresa Blunt of Tulsa, OK, Carolyn Allen of Rockford, IL, Kristin Jones Coleman-Scholes of CA, Melinda Campbell of Staunton, IL, and Peggy Ali of Japan; two brothers, Gerald Jones, Jr. of Carlinville and John Jones of MA, as well as several nieces and nephews. Jeri was preceded in death by her parents and life partner, James Shaw. Funeral Information Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 1:30 pm at Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville with Rev. Cliff Woodman officiating.
