Obituary of Phillip R. Gregory

Phillip R. Gregory 66 of Carlinville, passed away Tuesday evening, June 2, 2015 at Friendship Home in Carlinville, IL. Phillip was born on April 17, 1949 to Harold and Vera (Allen) Gregory in Jacksonville, IL and attended Winchester High School. Phillip was a truck driver for Jim Brown Trucking and Sonneborn Bros Trucking, retiring in 2006. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening and antique tractors. Phillip is survived by four sons, Robert (Carrie) Gregory of Girard, IL, Rodney Gregory of Pittsfield, IL, Jake (Kristen) Gregory of Carlinville, IL and Nathan Fearneyhough of Winchester, IL; two daughters, Charity (Chris) Mizera of Raymond, IL and Valerie Gregory of Decatur, IL; 5 grandchildren; mother, Vera E. Gregory of Lowder, IL; two sisters, Bev (Ron) Hoffstadt of Jacksonville, IL and Kathy Heck of Auburn, IL, as well as several nieces and nephews. Phillip was preceded in death by his father and 3 brothers, Ronald Harold, Robert Wayne and James Michael Gregory. Funeral Information Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Hettick Cemetery. Donations Information Memorials are suggested to Macoupin County TAILS or Hettick Cemetery.
