Obituary of Harry E. Frye

Harry E. Frye 71 of Carlinville, passed away Friday evening, March 13, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Harry was born on August 3, 1943 to Leonard and Freda (Smith) Frye in Chesterfield, IL. He married Barbara Burrell in 1961 in Carlinville and she survives. Harry worked as a mechanic for Drew Ford in Gillespie, IL, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on cars. Harry was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Carlinville. Harry is survived by his wife, Barbara Frye of Carlinville; two sons, Keith Frye and Andy Osborn both of Carlinville; two daughters, Tina (Dennis) Brown of Taylorville and Teresa (John) Johnston of Carlinville; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Bob (Beth) Frye of Otterville, IL; sister, Donna Walden of IN and several nieces and nephews. Harry was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ralph Frye and 3 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral Information Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 10:30 am at Kane Cemetery in Kane, IL.
