Obituary of Vernon L. England

Vernon L. England 61 of Carlinville, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 16, 2015, at Carlinville Area Hospital in Carlinville, IL. Vernon was born May 24, 1953, in Springfield, IL, a son of Carl L. and Lois Pearl (Vance) England. He married Glenda Bilbruck Sutton on June 14, 2002, in Carlinville, IL. Vernon was preceded in death by his grandparents; Ray & Pearl Vance and step son; David Sutton. Vern had worked for Laid Law Land Fill in Mo. before starting his career with Prairie Farms Dairy in Carlinville. He operated the yard dog for 18 years at the dairy. Vern enjoyed woodworking, camping and motorcycles. In his spare time he operated his own mowing and lawn care business for over 12 years. Vernon is survived by his wife, Glenda Marie of Carlinville, IL, father, Carl L. England of Taylorville, IL, mother, Lois Pearl (Dan) Cook of Carlinville, IL, son, Victor LeRoy England of Alsey, IL, daughter, Tammy Ann (Jim) England-Chism of Carlinville, IL, step-daughter, Wendy Sutton of Virden, IL, grandchildren Andrea & Damian England, step-grand grandchildren; Kayla McGown, Taylor Sutton, Jordan Sutton & Peyton Sutton, sister, Vickie (Steve) Shaw of Carlinville, IL, sister, Danette (Jeff) Stewart of Carlinville, IL, step-sister, Janice Schwartztraber of New Brunsville, TX, step-brother, Ronnie Cook of Carlinville, IL, step-daughter in law, Nancy Sutton of CA and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, IL. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Carlinville with Rev Cliff Woodman. Burial will follow in Girard Cemetery.
