Carol J. Parker, 90 of Carlinville, IL, passed away on Monday morning, February 23, 2026, at her home in Carlinville, IL. Carol was born June 18, 1935, in Joliet, IL, a daughter of Isaiah Strawn and Mildred (Keller) Strawn. She married Tolvin Parker on April 3, 1954, in Joliet, IL. Carol's passion for care taking went beyond being a homemaker. She was also a certified nurse assistant who worked at nursing homes, home health and residential care. She loved to help others and in her down time she enjoyed watching game shows. Carol loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers, Wally, Art, and David Strawn, and sister, Lana Hartsook. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date. Burial will follow in Charity Cemetery, Carlinville. Carol is survived by her son, Mark T. (Cathy) Parker of Carlinville, IL, three grandchildren; Jacob Parker, Ryan Parker, and Amanda Putnick, three great grandchildren; Benson, Roman, and Devin, brother, Ernie Strawn, and sister, Ethel Beckman. Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville is in charge of arrangements.
