My condolences to Doug, Pat, and Mike, and their families. Mrs. Broadhead was a great teacher, and I remember her fondly.
Carolyn, as I remember her, taught at Virden Jr. High from ā67-ā69 with me until I left to further my education. I have fond memories of my time there and those on the staff.Doug, please accept my condolences from afar.
With you in spirit.
I met Carolyn in Bible study at the Methodist Church and enjoyed getting to know this great Christian lady. She will be missed by many.
It was an honor to work with her, both as a fellow teacher and in Boy Scouts. Our condolences to Doug and to Mike and Pat and families.
Carolyn and I worked together on many projects and were class sponsors for numerous classes. One of our most memorable ventures was raising enough money to take a senior class to Disney in Florida. It required many fund raising events and of course they trip itself. Needless to say we spent many hours on these projects. Our daughter Karen babysat for their boys so we had many happy memories. Our sincere sympathy to the Broadhead family. She will be missed.
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Broadhead. She was one of my favorite teachers. She always made it exciting and interesting in every class, and after I graduated, she was always one of the people that actually truly recognized former students. I'm sure she will be deeply missed
