Janet Hedden, 66, of Centralia, Illinois, formerly of Carlinville, Illinois, passed away on September 14, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. Janet was born on January 11, 1959 in Carlinville, Illinois to Robert and Ramona Anderson Leefers. She graduated from Carlinville High School in 1977 and worked in the banking industry for 40 plus years. She enjoyed attending church on Sundays, antiquing, auctions, decorating her house for every season, attending anything her grandkids were involved in, and watching Centralia Orphan football and basketball games. She is survived by her daughters, Amy Huyear Verble and husband, Chad Verble of Centralia, Illinois and Hanna Huyear Marko and husband Ryan Marko of Centralia, Illinois. The true lights of her life were her four grandchildren, Lauren Verble, Cade Verble, Reed Marko, and Dax Marko all of Centralia, Illinois. She is also survived by her four sisters, Bobbie Klaus (Ronnie), Connie Leefers, Linda Walden (Rich), and Janie Peterson (Scott), all of Carlinville, Illinois and several nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her mother and father, two infant brothers, her sister and brother in law, Karen and Dennis Caudle. A private family graveside service will be held.
