The thing that most amazed me about David was his devoted to his interest in music and theatre. Over the years, we talked about those interests and you really could know that he knew these things. That matched with experience in it, and with the range of knowledge that he had. One of the things that ought to be shared is that David devoted himself with considerable time and effort creating an Wikipedia page on the Springfield Muni. No one asked for this, but he devoted himself to creating an history of it that is quite impressive. Surely, it will stand as a testament of his interest in the enrichment of the community's arts. And, I hope of David too.
His good nature was also on display with animals. Phebe the dog he found dumped on the streets of Houston. He found her, cared for her, and every day of her life she knew was a gift from him. The partnership of David and her was endless - right up to her own passing. They are now back together.
He will be missed by me, and by all who had the chance to have him in their lives. Few could match the inner true beauty of his soul. If you knew David - you are not likely to forget him. May light perpetual shine upon him.
So sorry for your loss Aaron! Keeping you and the family in prayers!
