Obituary of Steven Lee Allen

Steven Lee Allen, 59 of Carlinville, Illinois, formerly of Michigan, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, at his sisters residence. Steve spent his childhood years in Rochester, Illinois. Steven was born December 9, 1960, in Springfield, IL, a son of Gary Leon and Joanne Taft Allen. Steven attended Rochester Grade School and High School. He married Ann Bolte and from the union two daughters were born. They later divorced. Steve worked as a Chef at the Magnus Grand Hotel, rural Raymond. He enjoyed photography and nature. He spent his past time visiting and making new friends, playing with animals and cooking. He loved to fish local ponds and lakes. Steven was preceded in death by his father. There will be no services at this time. Steve is survived by his mother, Joanne Pedrick of Springfield, IL, daughter, Jennifer Gunn of Jacksonville, FL, daughter, Niki Allen of Holland, MI, 3 grandchildren, sister, Denise Masters of Carlinville, IL, half sister, Stephanie Beneky of Springfield, IL, several nieces and nephews.
