Donald E. Miller, 76, of Girard, passed away Monday evening, March 30, 2020 at his residence in Girard, IL.
Donald was born on February 28, 1944 to Melvin Henry and Delfine Catherine (Mo) Miller. He attended Carlinville schools and served in the United States Army during Vietman. Donald married Marsha Gross where they had 3 boys before divorcing. He was later married to Doris (Fenton) Ersery on November 4, 1989 and she preceded him in death in 1993.
Donald worked as a farm hand for David Killam for 17 years.
Donald is survived by three sons, Patrick (Melinda) Miller of Girard, IL, Brian (Stacey) Miller of Girard, IL, and Joseph (Michele) Miller of Carlinville, IL; several grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Melvin W. "Junior" (Ellen) Miller, of Atwater, IL and a sister, Linda (Pat) Pierceall of Pawnee, IL.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; wife, and a sister, JoAnn Davidson.
Private graveside services were held on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 in Girard Cemetery.
