Obituary of Timothy R. Adams

Timothy R. Adams, 60, of Gillespie, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at his residence in Gillespie, IL. with his loving family holding his hand. Tim was born on November 4, 1959 to William and Ruby (Carter) Adams in Wood River, IL. He married Dianne Koniak in 1983 and they later divorced in 1990. Tim was the owner of Adam's Painting in Gillespie, IL. He provided both residential and commercial painting in Gillespie and surrounding areas, retiring after 25 years. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. One of Tim's favorite hobbies was flying and working on drones. Tim is survived by his daughter, Amy Adams of Gillespie, IL; son, J.D. Adams of Gillespie, IL; daughter, Saleena Adams of Nokomis, IL; son, Daniel Adams of Gillespie, IL; daughter, Samantha (Kramer) Burbridge of Gillespie, IL; 15 grandchildren; brother, Les Adams of Gillespie, IL; sister, Dee (Elmer) Baremore of Kampsville, IL; sister, Bonnie Moran of Clinton, IL; brother, Calvin (Jo) Adams of Granite City, IL; brother, Terry Adams of East Alton, IL; brother, Bill Adams of Fosterburg, IL; brother, Carl Adams of East Alton, IL, as well as several nieces and nephews. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Jay and Mike Adams, and a sister JoAnn Adams. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, is in charge of arrangements.
