Obituary of Barbara Jean Miller

Barbara Jean Miller, 66 of Carlinville, passed away Thursday afternoon, October 24, 2019, at Heritage Health Care, in Carlinville, Illinois.

Barbara was born April 25, 1953, in Peoria, Illinois, a daughter of Jack and Mildred Maibach Frank.

Barbara taught Home Economics at Northwestern and Carlinville High Schools until retirement.

She was a member of the First Church in Carlinville where she had been active in teaching Sunday School and other church

activities.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father and brother, Jack Frank, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019, from 3:00 to 4:00 pm Carlinville First Church at 18772 Rt. 4 South in Carlinville, Illinois.

Celebration of her life will be conducted at 4:00 pm, Saturday,November 16, 2019 at the church with Rev. Steve Schmidt officiating.

A meal will follow at the Emmanuel Baptist Activity Center at, 120 West 2nd South Carlinville, Illinois.

Barbara is survived by her mother, Mildred Frank of Peoria, IL, daughter, Holly (Jeff) Shepherd of Highland, IL, son, Nicholas (Stacey) Miller of Carlinville, IL, daughter, Megan (Josh) Harms of Carmi, IL, sister, Sharon (Tully) Parker of Troy, IL, sister, Sandy (Doug) Gordon of Glasford, IL, brother, Gary (Tina) Frank of East Peoria, IL, several nieces and nephews.
