Emma Louise Sutton Emma Louise Sutton, 86, of Girard, died Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Montgomery Nursing & Rehab in Hillsboro, IL. She was born October 16, 1921 in Vandalia, Illinois, the Daughter of the late Joseph T. Wright and the late Minnie Frances Burnett. She married the late Earl E. Sutton in Waverly, IL on August 18, 1990. She was a LPN for 20 years at the Chicago West Suburban Hospital, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Pleasant View Primitive Baptist Church in Girard and Liberty Primitive Baptist Church in Fillmore. She loved playing scrabble and cards. Survivors: Daughter, Mary Alice Carter (Keith C.) of Fillmore, IL, Daughter, Linda Lopez (Gene) of Moline, IL, Step-Sons:, Virgil Sutton (Suzanne), Wendell Sutton (Joan),, Henry Sutton (Karen) all of Girard, IL, Wayne Sutton (Vicky) of Stoughton, WS, Jacob E. Miller (Barb) of GA, and Marvin Sickman of CA, Step-Daughter, Hilda Bettis of Girard, IL, 5 Grandchildren, Several Step-Grandchildren,, 10 Great-Grandchildren, Several Step-Great-Grandchildren,, 10 Great-Great-Grandchildren, Several Step-Great-Great-Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 Husbands: Thomas F. Kirkman, Clarence Sickman, and Earl E. Sutton, Son: Joe David Kirkman, 4 Brothers. Funeral Information Visitation: 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 10 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard, IL. Services: 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 11, at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home Rev. Houston Jackson of Fillmore, Illinois will officiate.
