Kenneth "Harv" D. Harvey, 75 of Girard, passed away Sunday morning, January 21, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Ken was born October 4, 1942, in Franklin, IL, a son of Floyd and Eva (Mullen) Harvey. Ken graduated from Waverly High School with the class of 1962. On June 19, 1965 he married Judith K. Dyer in Jacksonville, IL. Harv retired from Panhandle Eastern in 1997 after 27 years as a machinist. He was a member of Girard First Baptist, Girard Lions Club and Virden Masonic Lodge. He loved music, cars and the Cubs. Harv was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Harvey. Masonic Rites will be held at 3:45pm, Thursday. Visitation will be held, Thursday, January 25, 2018, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Girard, IL. where a Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm. Harv is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy Harvey of Girard, IL, son, Scot (Lori) Harvey of Edwardsville, IL, daughter, Lori Harvey of Athens, IL, grandchildren; Brea, Ashton, Dacy, Mason and Keagan. Also surviving, his sister, Glenda McNeece of Jacksonville, IL. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Girard, IL.
